Improving breathing strength and stamina can really make a difference in athletic performance, especially in sports like those seen at the Olympics. And using drug-free POWERbreathe Inspiratory Muscle Training (IMT) and Expiratory Muscle Training (EMT) devices helps athletes get the most from their respiratory muscles. This is because breathing muscle training also reduces breathing fatigue, which affects overall performance. Here’s how you can add these breathing exercises to your training:Why is Breathing Training Important for Athletes?Breathing exercises are super important for athletes because they:Increase inspiratory muscle strength, which helps get more oxygen to working muscles. Boost expiratory muscle strength, helping with carbon dioxide clearance. Improve breathing stamina and endurance by delaying when breathing fatigue kicks in. Help you recover faster between high-intensity efforts. How to Improve Breathing Strength with POWERbreathe IMT Track and FieldSprinting (100m, 200m, 400m)Tip: Try using POWERbreathe IMT; it can improve your explosive power at the start. Hi! My son is national level swimmer in Canada and EILO ( exercise induced laryngeal obstruction ). I ordered this morning a Powerbreath plus device from The Physio Store in Canada. Browsing through your website, I have found different Training recommendations for different sport/ distance. Do you have some IMT training recommendations to threat EILO. I also happen to learn about the smart adaptor and the use of Powerbreath ex1 for swimmers. Is it possible to have the 10 % discount if I buy the Ex1 and the smart adaptor? The bundle kit is not offered by The physio store. If my son head coach would like mesure lung capacity of his swimmers, can he use the powerbreath plus a few additional mouth pieces? Anymore sanitizing instructions ou just nit recommended. Reply
